Jamie Felts, a proud Nashville native, has been a dynamic force in the construction and development sector, deeply influenced by her family's commitment to hard work and community service while building many of Nashville’s landmarks. Her journey in the construction industry began in her early years, being part of a family structural steel business that grew from humble beginnings into a community cornerstone.

Her education at Franklin Road Academy and Belmont University was complemented by her entrepreneurial spirit, evidenced by her successful venture in bringing the first day spa to Tennessee while advocating for therapists to be professionally licensed, a business that emphasized high educational and operational standards.

Jamie's partnership with Todd, both in life and business, marked a significant turn in her career. Their combined expertise in general and civil construction, alongside commercial landscaping and erosion BMP, created a formidable team that led a commercial landscape company to unprecedented success.

Her move to an erosion control supply company, and later, the inception of Terrain Civil with Todd, showcases her dedication to providing comprehensive solutions in site development, stormwater management, and environmental protection.

As they prepare to send their second child to college, Jamie's gratitude for the opportunities in Middle Tennessee's construction industry is profound. Her leadership at Terrain Civil is not just about business success but about making a lasting, positive impact on the community and environment.

TODD FELTS, VICE PRESIDENT

From Green Industry to Industry Leader

Todd Felts' career trajectory is a testament to his relentless work ethic and deep understanding of the construction and landscaping industry. Beginning with residential landscape maintenance, his journey took a turn when he joined The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, quickly rising through the ranks due to his dedication and skill. His achievements in this role, including a national award for Field of the Year, set the stage for his future successes.

Returning to Nashville in 2004, Todd's experience in residential landscape construction, drainage, and the nursery industry led him to a pivotal role in a large landscaping and erosion control company, where his impact was immediate and transformative.

His focus on erosion control, drainage, and stabilization not only advanced his career but also contributed significantly to environmental protection and compliance with regulations. A health challenge in 2012 shifted his path to material supply, where he joined forces with Jamie, further enriching his knowledge and network in the industry.

Todd's commitment to becoming a comprehensive resource for contractors, coupled with his desire to bridge the gap between contractors and manufacturers, reflects his dedication to the industry. His leadership at Terrain Civil is characterized by a deep understanding of the construction process, a commitment to environmental stewardship, and a passion for educating and supporting contractors in their endeavors.
